The Life-Stage
First Baptist Church Cumming is a 165-year-old church located north of Atlanta. Pastor Robert Jolly had led the church through a period of growth since his arrival in 1994. In the spring of 2001, the church prepared to move to a new facility located two miles away from their existing worship center. The new facility would allow them to seat 1,000 people in a single service, nearly double their previous capacity. In an effort to maintain their growth, they needed to promote a compelling identity and vision as a local church.
